Château Mourgues du Grés

Domaine viticole | AOP Costières de Nîmes

This vineyard used to belong to the Ursulines convent in Beaucaire before the French revolution, hence its name  " Mourgues " (nuns in Provençal language), and " Grès " means " pebble ". In the yard,  Dans la cour, the sundial bears the motto " SINE SOLE NIHIL " (nothing without sun). This sunshine offers optimum  maturities for a wine naturally  rich and balanced.

The  " Costières de Nîmes " terroir is mainly made of est essentiellement composé quaternary alluvium from the Alps.It is right on the southern part of the former Rhone glacier, hence its belonging to the Rhone valley vineyard.
We share a strong link with our landscapes.

The Domain des Clos is a Provence mansion from the XVIIIth century where you’ll find the friendliness of a B&B and the comfort of a charming hotel. Natives, Sandrine et David Ausset will do their best to help you discovering our nice region.

We’ll welcome you in our farm house combining charm of the past and modern comfort. The original decoration of each room « is singing » the southern colors..

This fabulous building is located on the marina canal in the heart of the preserved area. It opens you the gateway to Provence and Languedoc-Roussillon, for a state of the art stay.
Under the old arches, in the garden or in the former chapel converted into an outdoor patio, you travel back in time.
Our 32 rooms at the colors of Provence are quiet and comfortable. From your window, you see the marina canal that calls for strolling. Only ten minutes away on foot to reach the pubs and restaurants, the medieval castle and the bullfight place.

Péniche d'hôtes Hélios

Chambres d'hôtes | AOP Costières de Nîmes

HELIOS is a Luxemotor type Dutch barge.  This 27.96m x 4.36m boat was built in SAPEMEER at the north of Nederland, in 1924.

For years, it carried concrete blocs for building the dams in the region of Amsterdam.

Ater having navigated along the the Dutch canals and lakes, it stoped over in the north-est of France for being converted into a house boat.

In 2006, Natasha and Olivier moored it in Beaucaire on the Rhone to Sète canal and turn it into a host barge.

They welcome you abord this barge, warm inside, and invite you to discover the Provence and Camargue cabins as well as the famous Captain cabin, for a timeless stay!

The Moulin des Costières

Between Provence and Camargue, in the city of Saint-Gilles, the Moulin des Costières is a large 30 hectars (nearly 75 acres) family owned vineyard. For more than 20 centuries, the olive is the center of a food culture and a lifestyle that Languedoc has happily and passionately inheritated. Carole and Fabien JEANJEAN, the owners, try to maintain this tradition in playing with the multiple flavors of the sun in order to create their tasty and colorfull range.
